Why the Institute was founded
The Institute for Polarity is founded in response to a growing relational crisis in modern society. In our pursuit of sameness and constant resonance, many couples are unintentionally flattening the very energetic tension that fuels intimacy, creativity, and desire. What looks like harmony and equality actually turns into emotional neutrality — a slow erosion of the polarity that makes relationships feel alive.
Many couples feel that their relationship has lost its spark and vitality, and struggle to find their way back to each other. The Institute raises awareness about these dynamics, offering a new perspective that helps couples bridge the gap and deepen their connection.
Our Goal
The Institute for Polarity wants to bring clarity, accountability, and embodied skill to the energetic patterns that shape intimate relationships. Our mission is to help couples and partners understand the deeper movements beneath their interactions — the unconscious dynamics that create attraction, tension, conflict, and connection.
We aim to:
-
raise awareness of the energetic patterns that drive interaction and influence how partners move toward or away from each other
-
teach partners to take accountability for their part in the dynamic, without blame, projection, or defensiveness
-
help couples gain clarity about their patterns and develop the skills needed to deepen intimacy and rekindle attraction
-
teach practical embodiment tools that allow partners to regulate, attune, and meet each other with presence
-
help couples connect the dots between their wounds, their attraction, and the way they interact in daily life
-
offer insight into the gifts of feminine and masculine dynamics, and how these forces shape polarity, movement, and relational growth
The Institute is founded on the belief that relationships transform not through communication techniques alone, but through understanding the energetic exchange taking place — and learning to move within that space with awareness, leadership, and embodied skill.

EVA
THE OBSTACLE IS THE PATH
My life has unfolded across countries, cultures, and roles, and each transition has shaped how I understand identity, development, and leadership. Before founding the Institute for Polarity, I spent years teaching English language, culture & literature at the college level. As an educator, I have always emphasized the value of clear frameworks, critical thinking, and the power of language. All of these are equally valuable in polarity work. But I now teach a much more powerful language: that of energetics. My decision to found this Institute is based on my personal mission and calling as an educator to: 1) teach the theory and polarity principles that drive energy, and 2) to help people integrate this through embodiment work.
Raising three children on my own and navigating the collapse of my marriage confronted me with both my strengths and my limits. Those years revealed how easily independence can become a form of self‑protection and how I was blocking and sabotaging myself in that sense of victimhood. The challenges of transition also pushed me to examine my patterns more closely. I began studying relational dynamics, trauma, attachment, and embodiment, first to understand my own life, but later as a professional path.
As I deepened this work, I started to recognize how polarity and archetypal patterns had operated in my relationships. Polarity was no longer just an abstract idea; it described the very personal dynamics I experienced. Parenting on my own made the need for masculine and feminine integration unmistakably clear and pushed me to get serious about my limitations and needs. It taught me to identify what I could carry on my own, what I really longed for, and, more importantly, how to ask for it. This discovery marked a huge shift and changed the course of my life.
Professionally, I’ve invested in training in trauma work, Jungian polarity, embodiment, and relational dynamics. This combination forms the backbone of my approach: a combination of theory, ongoing research, and embodiment practice.
I now teach polarity principles to conscious professionals who want to help couples gain a clearer understanding of the energetic patterns that shape their dynamics.
I have a deep reverence for theory, but know that true transformation takes place at a deeper level, beyond just the conscious/cognitive. This is an ongoing exploration.
My focus is the integration of awareness and embodiment-- - helping people to recognize their patterns, take ownership of their impact, and show up with more intention and curiosity in their relationships and personal lives.

Each person’s unique masculine and feminine qualities form a compass for meaningful, powerful relationships...
and offer a clear framework for understanding and deepening relational dynamics.
Experience the strength of difference. Learn to work with polarity.
